Day 1: Manali – Khanol (2700m) – Chikka (3200 m)

Distance: 12 kilometers
Duration: 2-3 hours

Commence your trek by reporting in Manali at 8 AM. After breakfast and freshening up, embark on a taxi ride to Khanol, the final village accessible by road via Jagatsukh village, reaching Khanol in approximately 1.5 hours. The trek commences from Khanol, leading through a gradual ascent amidst dense pine forests, eventually arriving at Chikka, our campsite for the day, featuring a Nag Mandir. Overnight stay in camps.

Day 2: Chikka – Seri (3600 m)

Distance: 6 kilometers
Duration: 5-6 hours

Today’s trek follows the Jagatsukh river bank and enters thick forests, transitioning to boulders and carpets of wildflowers. As the elevation increases and the tree line recedes, you’ll traverse the meadows of Seri, once a glacial lake. Seri campsite is adorned with numerous streams and the backdrop of Tainta waterfall. Overnight stay in camps.

Day 3: Seri – Tainta (3900 m)

Distance: 3 kilometers
Duration: 3-4 hours

Embark on an easy walk across the flat section of the meadow, followed by a stream crossing leading to Jagatsukh Nala. The trail then ascends steeply through boulders, culminating in the moraine field, our campsite for the day. Enjoy ample time to relax and acclimatize while exploring the surroundings, offering aesthetic views of Jagatsukh Peak. Overnight stay in camps.

Day 4: Tainta – Mini Chandratal (4480 m) – Tainta

Distance: 10 kilometers
Duration: 6-7 hours

Begin the day early with packed lunches, leaving backpacks behind. Trek through moraines with majestic views of Deo Tibba. After a steep ascent, behold the emerald blue waters of the high-altitude lake, Mini Chandratal. Spend time exploring before returning to the Tainta campsite. Overnight stay in camps.

Day 5: Tainta – Chikka

Distance: 9 kilometers
Duration: 5-6 hours

Retrace your steps back to Chikka through the meadows of Seri, with a lunch halt at Dudu Pathar. Overnight stay in camps at Chikka.

Day 6: Chikka – Jagatsukh – Manali

Distance: 12 kilometers
Duration: 4-5 hours

Trek back to Khanol, where a vehicle awaits to drive you back to Manali. Expect to arrive in Manali late in the afternoon.
